We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Product Support & Services Associate to support margin risk management activities for the International Prime Brokerage business by monitoring client exposures, managing operational risk, and partnering with stakeholders to deliver industry-leading margin and risk solutions.
In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships, driving strategic automation solutions by embracing a transformation mindset and challenging the status quo. This is a Product Support & Services position at Associate level within Product Support & Services, which is responsible for providing transaction support and managing post execution processes.

What You’ll Do In The Role

• Partner with Risk, Sales and Trading teams to provide margin financing quotes for prospective business opportunities.
• Collaborate with Risk, Strats and Technology teams to develop, stress test and implement margin lending models.
• Perform exposure analysis across client portfolios to identify and elevate risks across issuers, countries, markets and sectors.
• Attend client meetings and margin workshops to explain margin methodologies, analytics and reporting capabilities.
• Monitor client positions, valuations and margin requirements to ensure compliance with approved margin policies.
• Issue margin calls, monitor coverage and investigate exceptions in a timely manner.
• Analyze portfolio activity and trading behavior across a broad range of products, challenging inconsistencies and identifying potential risks.
• Partner with Clients, Risk Management, Account Managers and Technology teams to maintain a controlled and commercially effective operating environment.
• Drive strategic change initiatives and process improvements in collaboration with global Margin and MORS teams.

What You’ll Bring To The Role

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in any discipline.
• Ability to analyze complex data sets and draw risk-focused conclusions using strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Understanding of Prime Brokerage, hedge fund operations, derivatives, margin or collateral management processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with senior stakeholders and clients.
• Demonstrated analytical capability, attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a strong control environment.
• Experience in assessing and managing operational and market risk within a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of equities, fixed income, credit, foreign exchange, commodities and derivative products is advantageous.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools; knowledge of Access is advantageous.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• At least 2 years’ relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
