The ideal candidate has proved experience in retail merchandising, strong visual merchandising knowledge, and solid analytical skills to interpret sales data and trends.

About the role

NEWG Retail Limited is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Merchandiser to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is based in Kwai Hing, Kwai Tsing District, and represents a key position within our retail operations. As a Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in maximising sales performance and ensuring optimal product presentation across our retail environments. This position bridges the gap between our buying team and store operations, ensuring that our products are strategically positioned and effectively displayed to drive customer engagement and revenue growth.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and implementing effective merchandising strategies to maximise product visibility and sales performance
• Creating and maintaining eye-catching product displays and visual presentations across store locations
• Monitoring inventory levels and product stock rotation to ensure fresh and appealing displays
• Analysing sales data and customer feedback to identify merchandising opportunities and areas for improvement
• Collaborating with store managers and visual teams to ensure consistent brand presentation and merchandising standards
• Conducting regular store visits to audit merchandising compliance and make necessary adjustments
• Developing promotional displays and seasonal merchandising campaigns
• Liaising with suppliers and warehouse teams to ensure timely product delivery and stock availability
• Preparing detailed merchandising reports and presenting insights to senior management
• Training and supporting store staff on merchandising best practices and product knowledge

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Merchandiser or similar retail role, preferably within the consumer retail sector
• Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles and retail best practices
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends
• Creative mindset with an eye for detail and aesthetic appeal
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and retail management systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
• Exceptional organisational abilities and time management skills
• Flexibility to travel to multiple store locations as required
• Knowledge of Kwai Tsing District and surrounding areas is advantageous
• Fluency in English and Chinese (both written and spoken) is preferred
