Job summary

Hong Kong Baptist Hospital invites high-calibre candidates for a leadership role in Health Information Management. You will supervise medical records and health information services, with a focus on clinical coding, statistics and records management, in both Chinese and English.

Applicants should hold a degree or diploma with extensive supervisory experience, and demonstrate strong communication skills; hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Health Information Management, Health Care Management or related disciplines is preferred; OR diploma in a specialized function AND 7 years of relevant experience
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in supervisory role and preferably in medical records and health information services
• Knowledge of clinical coding, medical terminology, healthcare statistics and medical records management practices
• Proficiency in common office automation (e.g. E-mail, Internet / Intranet etc.) and PC applications (e.g. Adobe Acrobat, Canva, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint in both Chinese and English, etc.)
• Good supervisory, communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Experience in hospital or healthcare settings is preferred
