Job summary

China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a Material Control Supervisor / Assistant Material Control Supervisor to manage site storage, inventory control and procurement for construction projects on site. The role can be filled at two levels, with candidates considered for Assistant Material Control Supervisor based on experience.

The ideal candidate will have a Higher Diploma or above in a relevant field, at least 8 years in storekeeping/warehouse management in

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or above in Building Studies, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Purchasing and Supply, Logistics or related field.
• Minimum 8 years in storekeeping or warehouse management in construction.
• Familiarity with construction materials.
• Proficient in MS Office and Chinese word processing.
• Driving licence (Class 1 or 2) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a site storage system and monitor construction material inventory.
• Organise in-stock and out-stock of inventory items and maintain accurate records.
• Purchase miscellaneous materials and goods for construction works and maintain related records.
• Provide clerical support including supplier payments.
• Coordinate with the project team and subcontractors to ensure adequate resource allocation for operational needs.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the team.
