Job summary

Binance, a leading global blockchain ecosystem, is seeking a Market Surveillance Investigator in Hong Kong. You will analyze alerts, prevent market misconduct, and collaborate with Compliance, Legal and Front Office teams to enhance surveillance capabilities.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in financial services compliance, strong knowledge of trade surveillance, and excellent communication skills. Tableau, Python and SQL skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in financial services compliance.
• Strong understanding of market surveillance and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the timely analysis of alerts leading to detection and prevention of market misconduct.
• Identify areas of concern and elevate to stakeholders; highlight abnormal activity to the Head of Market Surveillance.
• Contribute to the design and development of models to enhance surveillance coverage.
• Perform ad-hoc reviews of trading activity and identify high-risk behaviors.
• Compile analysis into meaningful summaries for Legal and Compliance.
• Keep informed of regulatory and market structure changes to improve coverage and performance.
• The ideal candidate possesses exceptional analytical and communication skills for dealing with market participants.
