Job summary

JPC Texson Ltd in Hong Kong and its offices across China seeks a hands-on Procurement professional to source ship supplies and services, manage quotations and purchase orders, and coordinate with vessels, vendors, and the technical team to support cost-efficient fleet operations.

Reporting to the Procurement Manager and part of a six-member team, the role emphasizes timely delivery, accurate documentation, and alignment with company policies, enabling smooth operations and cost control.

Qualifications

• Tertiary education is required.
• Buyer experience in the shipping industry, preferably in ship management or ship owning.
• Good administration skills and familiar with Microsoft Office.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to prioritize tasks effectively and work under pressure.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and well organized.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase ship supplies and vessel-related goods and services in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Handle quotations, purchase orders, delivery follow-up, and coordination with internal teams, vessels, and suppliers.
• Work closely with the Technical Team to ensure supply chain operations match vessel requirements.
• Coordinate with the Technical Team, vessels, vendors, and the invoice processing team to resolve invoice queries.
• Update purchase orders and share supply status in the procurement system daily.
• Support general procurement administration and related tasks as required.
