Job summary

A leading financial institution in Hong Kong is seeking a Compliance Officer to provide advisory support to the Global Markets Department. The role involves reviewing operational procedures, formulating trade documents, and participating in product development. The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Law, Accounting, or related fields, along with at least 5 years of relevant experience in the banking sector. Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua is required. An attractive remuneration package will be offered.

• Provide training to departmental staff as necessary.

• Review internal operational procedures to ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and internal control guidelines
• Formulate and review trade document (eg ISDA, Loan Agreement and Product Term Sheet)
• Participate in new product development and provide compliance recommendations
• Provide training to departmental staff where necessary
• Degree holder or above in Law, Accounting, Business Administration or related disciplines, or equivalent qualifications at HKQF level 5
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in banking sector / audit firms
• Familiar with treasury operations and local regulatory requirements on investment products
