Job summary

Well Link Life Insurance Company Limited is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager, IT Application Development to drive effective collaboration between business and technology teams and ensure timely delivery of IT initiatives. You will lead both in-house developers and external vendors to execute system development, maintenance, and support in a coordinated, compliant manner.

Responsibilities include tracking progress, identifying risks, and supporting releases, with a focus on creating clear system

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant working experience, including experience in the Insurance industry.
• Experience in Java, Oracle/MSSQL/MySQL, HTML, CSS, JS, and JSP is an advantage.

Manager/ Senior Manager, IT Application Development

Facilitate information flow between business and technology teams to ensure the successful delivery of IT projects.

Manage, monitor, and coordinate in-house developers and external vendors to carry out system development, maintenance, and support.

Monitor and track the progress of IT projects, identify risks and issues, and propose mitigation strategies.

Support system releases and implementation.

Prepare relevant system documents and specifications.

Comply with security policy, audit requirements, regulatory requirements, and relevant company policies and procedures when carrying out all duties.

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify business opportunities and areas for improvement.

Job Requirements

Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

More than 5 years of relevant working experience, including experience in the Insurance industry.

Practical experience in Java, Oracle/MSSQL/MySQL, HTML, CSS, JS, and JSP is an advantage.

Experience in insurance administration systems, sales platforms, or mobile App development is a plus.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Able to work independently and in a team environment.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.

Proficient in both verbal and written English and Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin).

Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Manager, IT Application Development
