Job summary

St. James’ Settlement in Hong Kong seeks a Senior School Social Worker to supervise kindergarten social workers, programs and clerical staff, and to assist the Senior Manager of Education Services in formulating, implementing and evaluating professional services in pre‑school settings.

You will develop service projects, advance clinical practice and liaise with local stakeholders to promote kindergarten school social work services.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Social Worker with a degree in social work or above.
• Minimum 5 years of post-degree experience (casework or school social work preferred).
• Strong command of English and Chinese.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, dynamic with leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and lead kindergarten social work services.

Responsibilities

• Supervise kindergarten school social workers, program and clerical staff.
