Hongkong Land Group Limited seeks an experienced valuations leader to coordinate end-to-end valuation across its investment property portfolio, spanning commercial, retail, residential, mixed-use and development assets.
You will maintain a valuation register, manage reporting timelines and coordinate with external valuers and auditors to ensure rigour and compliance with HKFRS/IFRS and RICS Global Standards.
Coordinate the end-to-end valuation process across the Group’s investment property portfolio, including commercial, retail, residential, mixed-use and development properties
Maintain a comprehensive valuation register, tracking valuation dates, methodologies, external valuers instructed and movements in assessed values
Manage valuation timelines to meet statutory reporting deadlines, particularly during half-year and year-end reporting periods
Act as a key point of contact for the Group’s external valuation panel, coordinating valuation instructions, briefings and feedback across active engagements
Support valuer tender and appointment processes, including proposal evaluation, technical and commercial assessment, fee benchmarking, conflict of interest reviews and stakeholder feedback coordination
Critically review external valuation reports for technical rigour, methodological appropriateness and alignment with RICS Valuation – Global Standards and relevant HKFRS/IFRS requirements
Liaise with external auditors and respond to audit queries on valuation methodology, evidence and judgements
Degree in Property, Real Estate, Built Environment, or a related discipline
MRICS or equivalent professional qualification
Over 8 years of relevant property valuation experience
Strong experience in commercial real estate valuation
Good understanding of HKFRS/IFRS valuation and reporting requirements
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
