Job summary

AIA Group is seeking a finance professional to support and facilitate the finance and investment services processes for AIMHK pension funds. The role emphasizes customer-centric outcomes and end-to-end ownership of issues to enhance the customer journey.

Responsibilities include expense calculations/postings, accruals, P&L analyses, financial reporting under HKFRS/SFC/MPFA, and AI-assisted automation initiatives. HKICPA membership is preferred and regulation adherence is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Strong multitasking and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Experience with automating funds or finance processes using Generative AI/Agentic AI.
• HKICPA membership is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Calculate and post journal entries for investment management expenses across funds under AIMHK.
• Post accruals and settle expenses payable to external investment managers.
• Prepare management reports and fund-related P&L analyses.
• Assist on fund-related projects with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare semi-annual and annual financial statements for AIMHK funds in line with HKFRS/SFC/MPFA and ISAE3402.
• Handle fund-related operations including dividend distribution calculations and regulatory reporting.
• Assist in month-end closing activities for AIMHK.

About the Role

To support and facilitate the finance and investment services processes for AIA pension funds and AIMHK.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Handle the calculation and journal posting of the investment management expense earned by AIMHK in all platforms, including MPF, ORSO, SFC authorized funds and SICAV Funds (10%)
2. Handle the accrual posting, validation and settlement of investment management expenses payable to external investment managers in an accurate and timely manner (20%)
3. Assist in preparing management reports and fund-related profit and loss analyses (15%)
4. Assist in fund-related projects from a finance perspective, working with internal and external stakeholders (15%)
5. Handle preparation of the semi-annual reports and annual audited financial statements for relevant funds managed by AIMHK in accordance with HKFRS, SFC and MPFA requirements and the ISAE3402 internal control report of AIMHK (20%)
6. Handle the fund-related operations, such as the calculation of dividend distribution and regulatory reporting (10%)
7. Assist in finance-related activities for AIMHK month-end closing processes. (10%)

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant discipline
• At least 5 years Big 4 audit or fund related experience and consider candidates came from fund accounting or fund operations handling regulated funds
• Member of HKICPA is highly preferred.
• High level of multi-tasking and time management skill are required
• Solid experience in automation of funds or finance related procedures with the use of Generative AI or Agentic AI
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
