AIA is seeking a finance professional with fund accounting expertise to support AIMHK activities. The role emphasizes a customer-first mindset, end-to-end ownership of processes, and collaboration across teams to enhance the investor experience.

Candidates should have a solid accounting background, 5+ years in fund-related roles, HKICPA preferred, and proficiency with AI-driven automation in finance. Regulatory compliance and timely reporting are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related discipline.
• 5+ years' Big 4 audit or fund accounting experience.
• HKICPA membership preferred.
• Strong multitasking and time-management skills.
• Experience automating fund-related processes with Generative AI or Agentic AI.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle calculation and journal postings of investment management expenses across platforms (MPF, ORSO, SFC funds, SICAV).
• Manage accrual postings, validation and settlement of expenses payable to external managers.
• Assist in preparing management reports and fund-related P&L analyses.
• Support fund-related projects with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare semi-annual reports and annual audited FS for funds following HKFRS, SFC, MPFA; ISAE3402 control report.
• Oversee fund operations like dividend distribution calculations and regulatory reporting.
• Assist in month-end closing activities for AIMHK.

The role holder is expected to embed a customer first mindset in all decisions and actions by developing a clear understanding of customer needs, taking end to end ownership to resolve issues, and working collaboratively across teams to continuously enhance the customer journey—both directly and indirectly. To support and facilitate the finance and investment services processes for AIA pension funds and AIMHK.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Handle the calculation and journal posting of the investment management expense earned by AIMHK in all platforms, including MPF, ORSO, SFC authorized funds and SICAV Funds; (10%)
• Handle the accrual posting, validation and settlement of investment management expenses payable to external investment managers in an accurate and timely manner; (20%)
• Assist in preparing management reports and fund-related profit and loss analyses; (15%)
• Assist in fund-related projects from a finance perspective, working with internal and external stakeholders; (15%)
• Handle preparation of the semi-annual reports and annual audited financial statements for relevant funds managed by AIMHK in accordance with HKFRS, SFC and MPFA requirements and the ISAE3402 internal control report of AIMHK; (20%)
• Handle the fund-related operations, such as the calculation of dividend distribution and regulatory reporting; (10%)
• Assist in finance-related activities for AIMHK month-end closing processes. (10%)

Minimum Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant discipline;
• At least 5 years' Big 4 audit or fund related experience and consider candidates came from fund accounting or fund operations handling regulated funds;
• Member of HKICPA is highly preferred. High level of multi-tasking and time management skill are required;
• Solid experience in automation of funds or finance related procedures with the use of Generative AI or Agentic AI Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
