Job summary

CTBC Bank Co., Ltd. (Hong Kong) seeks a Manager – Deposit Team Head within the Transactional Banking Unit, Operations & IT. The role leads daily deposit operations, supports retail banking transactions, and ensures compliance with clearing systems.

You will train the team, generate performance reports, and participate in system UAT and projects. The candidate should have a bachelor degree plus at least 10 years of deposit experience in commercial banking, strong English and Chinese (Mandarin)

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above.
• At least 10 years of relevant deposit experience in commercial banking.
• Familiar with HKICL cheque clearing, auto-clearing systems and FPS real-time payment infrastructure.
• Pleasant personality with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Immediate availability is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Handle daily operations in relation to retail banking transactions including cash withdrawal and deposit, fund transfers, time deposit application, FPS transactions and cheque clearing etc.
• Review and monitor electronic clearing systems.
• Handle enquiries from customers and business units.
• Cooperate with relevant departments to strengthen operational efficiency and ensure the works are conducted in compliance with related rules and regulations.
• Provide training to the team and drive for continuous improvement.
• Prepare regular reports and performance reports for management review.
• Perform system UAT and participate projects and other ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisor / Management.
