Job summary

Shanghai Pudong Development Bank Co., Ltd., Hong Kong Branch is seeking an Operations Officer to provide Cash Counter Service and back-office support for Deposit Account services and time deposit processing. The role covers end-to-end tasks from account setup to renewal and closure, and requires attention to detail and strong communication with clients.

Ideal candidates have university degrees and at least five years in branch operations, including supervisory experience, with proficiency in MS

Qualifications

• University graduate with 5 years of relevant experience or Branch Operations experience (3 years supervisory) in Deposit Account Services, Cheque Clearing Process, Cash Counter Service and Cash Vault Management.
• Detail-oriented, mature, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; Putonghua speaking is an asset.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in system upgrade or enhancement projects is a strong plus.
• Candidates with less experience could be considered as Senior Officer.

Responsibilities

• Provide Cash Counter Service and Back-Office Functions for Deposit Account services.
• Handle end-to-end processing of Time Deposit, including account setup, renewal, interest calculation, and closure.
• Execute and verify fund transfer applications from Client and internal parties.
• Manage Cheque Clearing Process which includes the cheque deposit, cheque verification and exception handling.
• Process the client's Audit Confirmation request.
• Participate in system upgrades, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and implement new operational workflows.
• Handle and respond to enquiries / requests from internal and external parties;
• Assist Team Head to handle HKICL annual drill test and ad hoc tasks.
