Job summary

Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd is seeking an experienced Business Development professional to drive growth in general insurance across personal and commercial lines.

The role involves formulating strategic plans to meet department goals and budget, offering insurer-guided rates and terms, and coordinating with insurers on pre-renewal actions and product feedback.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Marketing, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Professional qualification of Associateship of Chartered Institute of Insurance (CII) and/or Senior Associateship of Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance & finance (ANZIIF) an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in business development of general insurance field.
• Sound knowledge of general insurance products and good understanding of the operations of general insurance companies.
• Self-motivated and independent with good leadership and people management skills.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
• Proficient in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and Chinese word processing.
