Prudential plc is seeking a senior AI Governance professional to implement and oversee the AI governance framework. You will coordinate assessment, approval, and monitoring across AI use cases while aligning with regulatory expectations and Group standards.

Responsibilities include leading governance forums, maintaining inventories, and driving improvements to manage AI-related risks while enabling responsible adoption.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Studies, Cyber Security or Risk Management.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, ethics, and implications.
• Experience with governance frameworks and tools such as OneTrust.
• Professional qualifications AAIA/AAISM/AAIR are preferred.
• 8+ years of experience with 3–4 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in banking, insurance, or technology sectors.

• Embed AI governance requirements into business operations, projects and AI initiatives.
• Oversee AI assessments, approvals and escalation to ensure effective risk management.

• Maintain AI inventories and oversee adoption of approved AI solutions across the organisation.
• Monitor AI risks, compliance, controls and key risk indicators, driving remediation and improvements.
• Provide advisory support and recommend governance enhancements for AI and regulatory risk.

The role will support the implementation and execution of the AI Governance framework to ensure that AI solutions are developed and used in a controlled, compliant, and risk-aware manner. The role will also coordinates governance processes across AI use case assessment, approval, and monitoring, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and Group standards. It provides operational oversight across the AI lifecycle, supports governance forums, and helps drive continuous improvement to ensure AI-related risks are effectively managed while enabling responsible adoption of AI.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance AI governance frameworks, policies and controls in line with regulatory and industry developments
• Embed AI governance requirements into business operations, projects and AI initiatives
• Oversee AI assessments, approvals, exceptions and escalation to ensure effective risk management
• Support governance committees, management forums and regulatory engagements through reporting, materials preparation and action tracking
• Maintain AI inventories and oversee the adoption of approved AI solutions across the organization
• Monitor AI risks, compliance, controls and key risk indicators, driving timely remediation and improvements
• Provide advisory support and recommend governance enhancements to address emerging AI, and regulatory risk

Job Requirements

• Degree in Information System, Computer Studies, Cyber Security, Risk Management or related disciplines
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, ethics, and their implications
• Experience in governance frameworks and tools (e.g. OneTrust), risk assessments and reviews
• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. AAIA/AAISM/AAIR)
• At least 8 years of working experience of which 3-4 years at managerial or supervisor role
• Experience from banking / insurance industry / Technology company
• Committed, proactive, assertive and positive with a strong understanding of risk and business
• Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Knowledge of Microsoft O365
• Able to articulate IT risk in relation to the businessExperienced in delivering presentations to senior management
