Job summary

Prudential Hong Kong is seeking an AI Governance Manager to lead the implementation and execution of the AI Governance framework, ensuring developments and deployments are controlled, compliant and risk-aware.

The role coordinates governance processes across AI use case assessment, approval, and monitoring, providing operational oversight throughout the AI lifecycle and reporting to governance forums and senior management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information System, Computer Studies, Cyber Security, Risk Management or related disciplines.
• At least 8 years of experience, with 3–4 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Experience in banking/insurance/tech industries is preferred.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance AI governance frameworks, policies and controls in line with regulatory and industry developments.
• Embed AI governance requirements into business operations, projects and AI initiatives.
• Oversee AI assessments, approvals, exceptions and escalation to ensure effective risk management.
• Support governance committees, management forums and regulatory engagements through reporting and tracking.
• Maintain AI inventories and oversee adoption of approved AI solutions across the organization.
• Monitor AI risks, compliance, controls and KRIs, driving remediation and improvements.
• Provide advisory support and recommend governance enhancements to address AI and regulatory risks.
