Job summary

Prudential Services Asia is seeking an experienced professional to support the implementation and execution of the AI Governance framework, ensuring AI solutions are developed and used in a controlled, compliant, and risk-aware manner.

The role coordinates governance across AI use case assessment, approval, and monitoring, provides operational oversight of the AI lifecycle, and drives continuous improvement to manage AI-related risk while enabling responsible adoption.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of AI technologies, ethics, and their implications
  • Experience in governance frameworks and tools (e.g. OneTrust), risk assessments and reviews
  • At least 8 years of working experience, with 3–4 years in a managerial or supervisor role
  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. AAIA/AAISM/AAIR)
  • Experience from banking / insurance industry / Technology company
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Able to articulate IT risk in relation to the business
  • Experienced in delivering presentations to senior management

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance AI governance frameworks, policies and controls in line with regulatory and industry developments
  • Embed AI governance requirements into business operations, projects and AI initiatives
  • Oversee AI assessments, approvals, exceptions and escalation to ensure effective risk management
  • Support governance committees, management forums and regulatory engagements through reporting, materials preparation and action tracking
  • Maintain AI inventories and oversee the adoption of approved AI solutions across the organization
  • Monitor AI risks, compliance, controls and key risk indicators, driving timely remediation and improvements
  • Provide advisory support and recommend governance enhancements to address emerging AI, and regulatory risk

Education

Degree in Information System, Computer Studies, Cyber Security, Risk Management or related disciplines

Job Requirements

  • Committed, proactive, assertive and positive with a strong understanding of risk and business
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Knowledge of Microsoft O365
  • Able to articulate IT risk in relation to the business
  • Experienced in delivering presentations to senior management
