Job summary

CW Talent Solutions is seeking an exceptional Software Engineer to join a premier systematic trading operation in Hong Kong. You will design and scale low-latency platforms that connect research to execution.

You will own production systems, deployments, monitoring, and data pipelines, collaborating with traders and researchers to translate ideas into robust technical solutions. Strong Python and Linux skills are essential, with a focus on performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Deep, practical expertise in Python and Linux; demonstrated ability to write production code under performance constraints.
• Proven debugging capability across multiple layers—application logic, system calls, network behavior, resource contention.
• Disciplined engineering judgment: you can articulate trade-offs between speed of delivery, code clarity, maintainability, and runtime performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement production systems in Python that execute and monitor quantitative trading strategies at scale.
• Take end-to-end ownership of infrastructure architecture—servers, deployments, monitoring, alerting—ensuring systems are hardened, observable, and operationally sound.
• Partner with traders and researchers to translate quantitative ideas into scalable, performant technical solutions.
• Build diagnostic and debugging tools that enable rapid problem identification and root-cause analysis in both application and systems layers.
• Manage live production dependencies, integrations, and data pipelines—keeping systems responsive and data fresh under real-time pressure.
• Drive iterative improvements to platform stability, performance, and maintainability based on operational insight.
