Job summary

CW Talent Solutions is seeking a Trading Platform Engineer for the Systematic Technology team in Hong Kong. The role focuses on production engineering, reliability, and day-to-day support of a high-performance trading platform.

You will work with traders, Quant researchers, and developers to ensure stability and responsiveness to front-office needs. Ideal candidates bring experience in real-time, production systems, strong monitoring and incident management skills, and proficiency in Python

Qualifications

Experience in production engineering or site reliability in real-time/trading environments.
Experience supporting business-critical production systems with urgency and ownership.
Strong monitoring, observability, alerting, incident management, and RCA.
Experience supporting front-office users in fast-paced settings.
Linux-based troubleshooting and platform stability focus.
Ability to collaborate with traders, researchers, and software teams.
Scripting or automation experience in Python or similar language.

Responsibilities

Provide production support for a high-performance, low-latency trading platform in a live trading environment.
Monitor system health, trading workflows, and platform behavior to ensure reliability and rapid issue detection.
Respond to production incidents, drive triage and resolution, and coordinate across teams.
Support front-office users by investigating trading issues and resolving time-sensitive problems.
Own and improve monitoring, alerting, telemetry, and dashboards across the trading platform.
Develop automation, runbooks, and operational tools to reduce risk and improve supportability.
Perform root cause analysis on production issues and drive follow-up actions for resilience.
Support release processes, change management, and controlled production rollouts.
Monitor data quality and workflow exceptions across trading and market data processes.
Partner with engineering to improve recoverability and observability of trading apps.
Help define operational standards, procedures, and production controls.
