Job summary

奇瑞全球創新(香港)有限公司 is seeking an experienced LLM Algorithm Expert to join our technology team on Hong Kong Island. You will develop and optimize language model algorithms that push AI capabilities and deliver high‑impact solutions.

In this full‑time role, you will research state‑of‑the‑art techniques, implement novel approaches, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deploy models in production, while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a technical field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in algorithm development, ML, or AI.
• Deep understanding of LLM architectures, including transformer models, attention mechanisms, and optimization techniques.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, or Java.
• Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of NLP techniques, training and fine-tuning methodologies.
• Ability to optimize algorithms for performance and scalability.
• Experience with HPC or distributed computing is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Track record delivering results in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise LLM algorithms and architectures to enhance performance, efficiency, and scalability
• Conduct research into state-of-the-art LLM techniques and methodologies, evaluating their applicability to our use cases and requirements
• Implement and test novel algorithms, ensuring they meet rigorous quality standards and performance benchmarks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate LLM solutions into production systems and applications
• Analyse model performance metrics and identify opportunities for algorithmic improvements and optimisation
• Document technical specifications, algorithm workflows, and implementation guidelines for team reference and knowledge transfer
• Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for LLM development and deployment within the organisation
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members on algorithm development and implementation
• Stay informed of industry advancements and emerging trends in language models, machine learning, and artificial intelligence
