About the role
We are seeking an experienced LLM Algorithm Expert to join our innovative technology team at 奇瑞全球創新(香港)有限公司. This is a full-time position based on Hong Kong Island. As an LLM Algorithm Expert, you will play a critical role in developing, optimising, and implementing advanced language model algorithms that drive our cutting‑edge solutions. Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimise large language model (LLM) algorithms and architectures to enhance performance, efficiency, and scalability
- Conduct research into state-of-the-art LLM techniques and methodologies, evaluating their applicability to our specific use cases and requirements
- Implement and test novel algorithms, ensuring they meet rigorous quality standards and performance benchmarks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate LLM solutions into production systems and applications
- Analyse model performance metrics and identify opportunities for algorithmic improvements and optimisation
- Document technical specifications, algorithm workflows, and implementation guidelines for team reference and knowledge transfer
- Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for LLM development and deployment within the organisation
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members on algorithm development and implementation
- Stay informed of industry advancements and emerging trends in language models, machine learning, and artificial intelligence
What we're looking for
- Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in algorithm development, machine learning, or artificial intelligence, with substantial focus on large language models
- Deep understanding of LLM architectures, including transformer models, attention mechanisms, and neural network optimisation techniques
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java, with demonstrated expertise in implementing complex algorithms
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries including TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar platforms
- Solid knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) techniques, language model training, and fine‑tuning methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to optimise algorithms for performance, scalability, and computational efficiency
- Experience with high‑performance computing environments and distributed computing frameworks is highly desirable
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to think critically about complex technical challenges
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
