Job summary

CLPe Solutions Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an energetic engineer to join the Contracting Business Department and work in the lighting team. The role covers installation, testing, commissioning of lighting and related electrical/mechanical systems, plus site supervision and coordination with clients and authorities.

The candidate will develop work programmes, monitor milestones, supervise technicians and ensure SHEQ compliance. Driving license and Green Card are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate in Engineering or equivalent with at least 4 years' relevant experience, or Ordinary Diploma / Ordinary Certificate with at least 6 years' relevant experience.
• Construction Industry Safety Training Certification (Green Card) and Construction Workers Registration Card.
• Good interpersonal skills; ability to communicate technical concepts to others.
• Solid LV (low voltage) experience is advantageous.
• Valid driving license (1 or 2) / REW license would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning of lighting systems and related electrical and mechanical systems.
• Oversee site activities and coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and authorities for smooth project execution.
• Develop and monitor work programmes to achieve milestones, schedules and contract requirements.
• Supervise technicians and subcontractors during installation, pre-commissioning tests, and commissioning activities.
• Implement and maintain SHEQ standards in line with company policies and statutory requirements.
• Monitor supplier and subcontractor performance to ensure quality workmanship and timely delivery.
