High Block Limited seeks a junior legal professional to provide day-to-day legal support, draft and review commercial documents, and maintain contract records. The role requires bilingual capabilities in English and Mandarin and the ability to manage routine contracts with supervision.
Experience in a law firm or in-house environment, plus a Master's degree in Law and HK qualification preferred, with strong drafting and compliance awareness for regulatory materials.
This role provides day-to-day legal support and preliminary risk identification to business units, operations teams and the mainland team. You will draft, review and revise a range of commercial and financial documents under supervision, including service agreements, vendor contracts, partnership agreements, announcements and circulars, legal notices, board and shareholder resolutions, with English/Chinese bilingual consistency checks. You will maintain the contract register, version control and execution records, and support compliance review of marketing materials, product documentation and internal policies.

Provide day-to-day legal support and preliminary risk identification to business units, operations teams and the mainland team; escape complex or high-risk matters to the line manager or external counsel
Support compliance review of marketing materials, product documentation and internal policies against applicable laws and internal checklists; flag issues and propose revisions
Assist in preparing materials for licensing applications, regulatory filings, inspections and inquiries; coordinate with external counsel and compliance advisers on regulator communications
Track and summarise legal and regulatory developments and circulate briefings with impact notes and recommended actions
Coordinate with external legal counsel, consultants and service providers in Hong Kong and overseas — managing document flow, timelines and fee administration
Help maintain the bilingual contract template library, legal risk checklists and compliance procedure documents
Support ad-hoc legal projects and business initiatives from a legal and compliance perspective
Master's degree or above in Law (LLM / JD or equivalent)
Minimum 1 year of relevant legal experience (law firm or in-house); outstanding new graduates will be considered
Fluent Mandarin (spoken and written)
Strong English drafting and review capability — must handle English legal documents directly
Hands-on contract drafting and review capability; able to handle routine commercial contracts independently
Valid right to work in Hong Kong
Detail-oriented, well-organised, comfortable with contract administration and documentation work
Qualified lawyer in Hong Kong or another common law jurisdiction (preferred)
Experience supporting a Hong Kong listed company, licensed financial institution or regulated business (preferred)
Familiarity with the Hong Kong regulatory framework (preferred)
