Job summary

JKL Legal Search Limited is seeking a Legal Recruiter – Consultant for an on-site role in Central, Hong Kong. You will manage live searches end-to-end, coordinating interviews and offers while working directly with law-firm clients and candidates.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of legal recruitment experience, a proven client-facing track record, and strong English skills; Mandarin/Cantonese is a plus. Comprehensive training is provided and a clear path for growth exists.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in legal recruitment or legal search.
• Proven experience working directly with clients (law firms or in-house)
• Track record of placements in legal recruitment
• Strong understanding of law-firm practice areas and lawyer progression
• Excellent written and spoken English; Mandarin/Cantonese is a plus

We are hiring a Legal Recruiter – Consultant to join JKL Legal Search Limited as the business continues to grow. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Central. You will manage live legal searches from end to end and work directly with law-firm clients and candidates. Comprehensive training will be provided so that you can quickly ramp up on our desk, processes and market coverage.

Key responsibilities

Manage searches from initial brief through to shortlist, interview coordination and offer support

Build and maintain relationships with law-firm hiring contacts and HR

Source, screen and advise candidates on process, interviews and negotiations

Maintain an accurate and up-to-date pipeline and candidate records

Share practical market insight with clients and the team

Uphold a disciplined, relationship-led standard so that placements are successful and lasting

About you

At least 2 years' experience in legal recruitment / legal search

Proven experience working directly with clients (law firms or in-house legal hiring managers), not solely candidate-side work

A clear track record of placements in legal recruitment

Solid understanding of law-firm practice areas, seniority levels and lawyer career progression

Strong written and spoken English; Mandarin and/or Cantonese is an advantage

Professional, discreet and organised; comfortable managing several live searches concurrently

Willing to work on-site in Central, Hong Kong

Degree in Law, HR, Business or a related field preferred

Basic salary of HK$30,000 – $40,000+ per month, plus a top-tier commission structure
