Job summary

CTF Services Limited in Hong Kong seeks an experienced lawyer to provide legal and regulatory guidance for the financial services group. You will focus on SFC rules, draft and negotiate commercial contracts, and assess regulatory risks arising from new initiatives.

The role requires strong English and Putonghua, plus solid experience in financial services regulatory matters. You will support day-to-day operations and collaborate on strategic projects within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of SFC rules and regulations and other regulatory requirements relevant to the financial services sector.
• Relevant experience advising financial services businesses or handling financial regulatory matters is essential.
• Strong analytical, legal drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
• Good business acumen, sound judgement and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal and regulatory advice with a primary focus on the Group’s financial services businesses, including matters relating to SFC rules and regulations and other applicable regulatory requirements;
• Review, draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, agreements and other legal documents;
• Assess legal and regulatory risks arising from business initiatives and advise on appropriate risk mitigation measures;
• Handle legal correspondence and matters involving regulatory authorities, as appropriate;
• Participate in business initiatives and ad hoc projects, providing legal and regulatory advice throughout planning and implementation;
• Provide day-to-day legal support to the Group’s businesses and operations; and
• Perform other legal duties and assignments as required.
