Job summary

Ambition is seeking an experienced Data Project Manager to drive delivery across multiple strategic data initiatives in Hong Kong. You will maintain the programme view, align projects and workstreams, and deliver business outcomes through data and analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities include governance, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination to ensure value delivery and adoption of self-service BI across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering medium to large-scale projects as a Project Manager or Program Manager.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project dependencies, governance frameworks, RAID logs and stakeholder communications.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to tailor messages to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Highly proactive with ownership, accountability and initiative.
• Experience in Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid delivery environments.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage medium to large-scale data transformation projects
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones and delivery roadmaps
• Drive programme governance across multiple workstreams and project teams
• Identify project risks, dependencies and issues, and proactively implement mitigation plans
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, data specialists and technology teams
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership teams
• Support the delivery of enterprise data models, semantic models and self-service BI capabilities
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions and communicate complex information in a clear and impactful manner
• Drive user adoption and business engagement throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure projects deliver measurable business value and strategic outcomes
