Job summary

JD.com Inc. is seeking a Project Construction Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of industrial, logistics, and large-scale construction projects in the UK, with emphasis on cost control, design coordination, regulatory compliance, and safe on-site execution.

You will coordinate design consultants, main and sub-contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to required standards, while managing interfaces, risks, and value engineering opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a built environment discipline.
• 8–12 years of UK construction project management experience.
• Experience delivering industrial facilities or large-scale warehouses.
• Strong knowledge of UK construction regulations and planning approvals.
• Experience managing multiple contractors and cross-package interfaces.
• Experience using project management systems (Aconex/Procore/BIM/Primavera/Viewpoint).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project and construction management from design to handover.
• Oversee schedules, budgets, safety, and environmental performance.
• Coordinate trade contractors and split-contract procurement structures.
• Ensure interface coordination among MEP, civil, architectural, and structural works.
• Prepare project status reports and mitigate risks.
• Lead interface risk management and cross-trade coordination workshops.
• Engage with design consultants, main contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and build approvals.
