Pinpoint Asia is seeking a Lead Business Analyst to own the analysis and delivery of core trading and post-trade systems for Fixed Income and OTC derivatives in Hong Kong. You will translate complex requirements into technical user stories and prototypes, running SDLC cycles with engineering teams in Mainland China.

You will ensure strict compliance with Hong Kong regulatory frameworks, including SFC Type 11, and manage day-to-day platform health, escalations, and cross-functional prioritization

Formación

• 10+ years of FinTech or technical business analysis experience supporting institutional capital markets trading or settlement platforms.
• Deep product domain expertise across Fixed Income and OTC derivatives.
• Comprehensive trade lifecycle knowledge, including position bookkeeping, credit and market risk controls, confirmation, settlement, and clearing.
• Hands-on delivery capability: you know how to break down complex architectures, build functional prototypes, and produce clear technical documentation.
• Language skills: fluency in English to engage overseas business stakeholders, combined with strong Mandarin listening and speaking skills to collaborate effectively with Mainland China-based engineering teams.
• Valued additions: previous exposure to Hong Kong SFC regulatory projects (RA11 preparation), AML/compliance platforms, or client onboarding engines.

• Own the full SDLC delivery path: create functional prototypes, define business architecture, and run regular sprint cycles directly with engineering squads in Mainland China.
• Ensure all trade booking, position keeping, and reporting pipelines comply strictly with Hong Kong regulatory frameworks, specifically upcoming SFC Type 11 requirements.
• Oversee day-to-day functional platform health, handling Tier-2/3 business escalations for trade settlement and clearing workflows to ensure zero operational downtime.
• Drive project prioritization and resource planning across multiple concurrent initiatives, keeping global stakeholders aligned on scope and delivery timelines.

Our client, an established, well-capitalized securities firm, is looking for a Lead BA to deliver greenfield projects under a Type 11 License for their fixed income desk.

The Role & Landscape

In this role, you will take ownership of the business analysis and project delivery lifecycle for core trading and post-trade systems supporting listed Fixed Income and OTC derivative products.
