Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Management Services Ltd seeks an experienced Building Services Engineer to oversee Grade A office maintenance. You will lead the technical team, manage M&E daily operations, and respond to faults to minimize disruption.

You will prepare tender docs, supervise repairs, review reports for accuracy, and work with clients and vendors to ensure compliance and timely performance. Fluent English and Chinese are required.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Building Services Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent related subjects.
• Minimum 5 years' relevant work experience in building maintenance, planning and scheduling at supervisory level.
• Experience in Commercial Building is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience in managing building improvement, site coordination and emergency repair works.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Independent, analytical, self-motivated, well-organized and able to work under pressure.
• Candidates with less experience may be considered as Assistant Building Services Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering and maintenance operations for a Grade A commercial building.
• Lead and coordinate the technical team in daily operations and scheduled maintenance of M&E systems.
• Respond promptly to system failures and manage emergency repairs to minimize disruption.
• Prepare and evaluate tender documentation, including pre-qualification assessments and tender analysis reports.
• Supervise repair works, monitor vendor performance, and review work orders and repair reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Represent the facility management team in meetings with clients, occupants, and external vendors.
• Contribute to the preparation and review of monthly contract performance reports.
• Issue purchase orders for subcontractor call-outs, materials, and additional works with auditable records.
• Collaborate with the Property Manager to uphold reporting integrity and meet internal compliance requirements.
