Job summary

Leadingnation is seeking an elite Backend Engineer in Hong Kong to architect and optimize a core matching engine and OMS for a fast-growing digital asset exchange. Drive sub-millisecond execution, multi-asset support, and precise state management in a high-throughput environment.

You will design and codify the engine, risk and margin logic, and liquidity interfaces, while maintaining data integrity and high availability. Join a pioneer team shaping the future of digital asset trading.

Qualifications

• Expert in Go, C++, or Rust with real‑world high‑throughput systems experience.
• Proven background in CEX matching engines or HFT components.
• Strong experience with Redis, Kafka, gRPC, and PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the core Matching Engine and Order Management System with low latency and high concurrency.
• Implement real-time risk controls, margin logic, and automated liquidation for leveraged trading.
• Profile, benchmark, and tune systems to minimize tail latency and maximize orders per second.
• Integrate high-speed liquidity connectors via FIX, WebSocket, and binary APIs.
• Ensure data integrity, with event-sourcing, WAL, and robust recovery.
