Job summary

Bybit in Hong Kong is seeking a Lead AML Product Specialist, AI & Automation to improve AML workflows, systems and processes across the AML function. You will collaborate with AML Operations, Investigations, Transaction Monitoring, KYC/KYB, Compliance, Data and Engineering teams to embed AI and automation into key workstreams.

The role focuses on reducing manual work, shortening turnaround times, and increasing accuracy while maintaining controls and auditability.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in AML, financial crime, or related fields.
• Experience with AML systems, workflows or processes.
• Experience with AI, automation, or data-driven solutions.
• Strong product management, analytics and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and prioritise product and process improvement initiatives across AML operations.
• Review existing workflows and identify opportunities to simplify, automate or improve how work is performed.
• Drive end-to-end improvements across transaction monitoring, investigations, KYC/EDD, STR/SAR preparation, sanctions screening and case management.
• Work directly with AML teams to understand operational pain points and redesign workflows where appropriate.
• Translate AML and regulatory requirements into clear product requirements for Engineering, Data and AI teams.
• Develop practical solutions that reduce repetitive manual work and improve the quality and consistency of AML reviews.
• Embed AI-enabled tools into relevant AML workflows and ensure they are adopted in day-to-day operations.
• Ensure appropriate controls, human review, escalation and auditability are built into new processes.
• Track outcomes such as analyst productivity, turnaround time, false-positive reduction, investigation quality and control effectiveness.
• Be accountable for demonstrating meaningful application of AI and automation across the AML workstreams under the role’s remit.
