Job summary

Chiyu Banking Corp Ltd in Hong Kong seeks a Manager (AML System and Data Management) on agency contract to own AML platforms, oversee transaction monitoring, name and sanctions screening, and case management.

You will drive configuration tuning, governance docs, data reconciliation, and coordinate vendor-led improvements, including AI-enabled enhancements, to strengthen detection and reduce false positives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–8 years in AML compliance or AML system management with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience managing AML system projects within a financial institution.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua).

Responsibilities

• Act as business owner / lead user for AML systems covering transaction monitoring, screening and case management.
• Ongoing review and optimisation of configurations, scenarios, thresholds and workflows.
• Monitor system stability, data completeness and processing performance; drive root-cause analysis with IT and vendors.
• Coordinate AML system enhancements including AI, upgrades and regulatory changes from requirements to go-live.
• Collaborate with consultants and vendors on alert prioritisation and benefits tracking.
• Recommend process simplification and automation to reduce manual work and risk.
