Job summary

Hongkong Jet is seeking a Senior Aircraft Maintenance Lead to manage a team of licensed engineers and mechanics. You will assign daily tasks, supervise complex maintenance, and ensure airworthiness across a diverse fleet of business jets in Hong Kong.

The role requires HKCAD B1/B2 and FAA A&P licenses, 5+ years in maintenance with 2+ years in supervision, and fluency in English and Chinese. Expect occasional outstation projects and strict safety adherence.

Qualifications

• Right to work in Hong Kong without visa sponsorship.
• Degree holder in aircraft engineering or equivalent experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in aircraft line and base maintenance, including at least 2 years in supervisory capacity.
• Familiarity with aircraft mechanical, electrical, and avionics systems; hands-on structure repair experience.
• HKCAD B1 and B2 licenses required; FAA A&P licenses required.
• Type rating on Gulfstream G650/G700, Boeing B737-NG, or Bombardier BD700 is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong judgment.
• Fluency in Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin) and excellent English communication.
• Willingness to support occasional outstation assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Licensed Aircraft Engineers and mechanics on shift; allocate daily tasks and ensure efficient workflow.
• Service and repair aircraft to ensure airworthiness; repair and replace structures and components as required.
• Perform scheduled/un scheduled maintenance, defect rectification, and troubleshooting for a diverse fleet of business jets; include servicing, inspections, and complex maintenance.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with HKCAD, EASA, FAA, and company SMS policies and procedures.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, drawings, and specifications to determine repair feasibility.
• Liaise with flight crews, OEMs, and stakeholders to maximize operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
• Adjust, repair, or replace electrical wiring systems and aircraft accessories as required.
• Provide guidance to team on work orders, checklists, and hazardous materials.
