Job summary

LedgerLex Language Studio is a Hong Kong-based boutique offering financial translation and proofreading services in English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese. The trainee will handle translation and proofreading assignments under supervision, with careful attention to terminology, figures and formatting.

Applicants should be current university students with strong English and Chinese drafting skills and an interest in finance or business writing. Right to work in Hong Kong is required.

About you

Strong written English and Chinese, including the ability to work carefully with Traditional Chinese. Simplified Chinese is an advantage.

Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to checking text.

An interest in finance, business writing or translation; prior experience is helpful but not essential.

Good organisation, reliability and a willingness to ask when something is unclear.

Discretion when handling confidential material.
