Job summary

St. James’ Settlement is seeking a senior social work leader to supervise kindergarten social workers, programs and clerical staff.

You will assist the Senior Manager of Education Services to formulate, implement and evaluate professional services in preschool settings, develop service projects, and promote clinical practice with local stakeholders. The role requires 5+ years post-degree experience, strong English and Chinese communication, and the ability to lead and work under pressure in

Qualifications

At least 5 years of post-degree experience in casework or school social work services preferred.
Good command in English and Chinese.
Self-motivated, resourceful, dynamic, presentable, good in people management & leadership, excellent communication & interpersonal skills with teammates, users and stakeholders.
Able to work under pressure.
Strong passion to develop clinical practice, service development and to lead kindergarten school social work service.

Responsibilities

Supervise kindergarten school social workers, program and clerical staff.
Assist Senior Manager of Education Services to formulate, implement & evaluate professional service in pre-school settings.
Develop service project.
Develop clinical service to establish professionalism and expertise in the field.
Liaise with local stakeholders & promote kindergarten school social work services.
