Job summary

IO TECH SOLUTIONS LIMITED is seeking a Support Manager / KDB/Q Developer to join our Front Office Technology team in Hong Kong. You will build and support KDB+ analytics solutions used across electronic trading, working closely with Algo Traders, Quant teams and Technology.

You will develop and maintain KDB+/Q platforms, handle real-time and historical market data, and create APIs for quantitative modelling.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of hands-on KDB+/Q development experience.
• Strong understanding of KDB+ architecture and Q.
• Experience with equities market data / electronic trading.
• Exposure to Refinitiv Elektron or similar market data feeds is a plus.
• Experience in API development.
• Exposure to TCA / post-trade analytics is advantageous.
• Python, C# or R experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain KDB+/Q-based analytics platforms.
• Work with real-time and historical equities market data.
• Build APIs for quantitative modelling and data analysis.
• Integrate with electronic trading, execution and post-trade systems.
• Support production environments and troubleshoot operational issues.
• Improve data infrastructure and system performance.
