BBVA Hong Kong is recruiting a junior professional for an Internal Audit function that covers Corporate & Investment Banking activities across Asia. You will join a small, international team and gain hands-on exposure to audits, processes, risks and governance, with opportunities to apply data analytics and AI tools.

You don’t need prior banking or audit experience; what matters is potential, clear communication, quick learning and initiative.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; master's degree an advantage.
• Some exposure through internships or initial work experience; no prior audit experience required.
• Strong analytical thinking, curiosity and problem-solving, with ability to learn quickly and take initiative.
• Excellent written and spoken English with clear communication across stakeholders.
• Fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Experience in international or multicultural environments is valued.
• Interest in technology and data analytics; familiarity with Python or AI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the team reviewing BBVA’s CIB activities across Hong Kong, Singapore, Taipei, Shanghai and Tokyo.
• Assist with executing and documenting audit work and operational follow-up.
• Participate in analysis and process-improvement initiatives, receiving guidance while building understanding of banking activities.
