Egis in Hong Kong is seeking a junior façade engineer to support the design and engineering of building façades, under guidance from senior engineers. You will contribute to calculations, drawings, and technical documentation for projects across Asia.

Fresh graduates with up to 2 years’ experience, proficient in AutoCAD and fluent in English and Cantonese, are encouraged to apply. Egis promotes career development and a collaborative team environment with competitive compensation.

Formación

• Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 2 years of relevant engineering or construction experience are welcome to apply.
• Basic understanding of structural engineering principles and an interest in façade engineering and building design.
• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with engineering software.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Cantonese.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, willing to learn and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Assisting with the design and engineering of façades for building projects in Hong Kong and across Asia.
• Carrying out engineering calculations and basic structural analysis under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Assisting in the preparation of calculation reports, drawings and technical documentation.
• Supporting the review of shop drawings, material submissions and contractor-provided calculations.
• Participating in site and factory inspections relating to façade fabrication and installation.
• Participating in meetings to provide engineering input to the design process.
• Daily communication with the Associates and team members to ensure project alignment.
• Developing knowledge of façade systems, materials, construction methods and relevant local codes and standards.
