Job summary

Inhabit is seeking a junior engineer to assist the design and engineering of façades for building projects in Hong Kong and across Asia. You will perform basic structural analysis under guidance, help prepare calculations and drawings, and support reviews of shop drawings and contractor submissions.

Ideal candidates have a Civil/Structural/Mechanical background, basic AutoCAD skills, and good communication in English and Cantonese.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Higher Diploma in Civil/Structural/Mechanical Eng.
0–2 years of relevant engineering or construction experience welcome to apply.
Basic understanding of structural engineering principles and façade engineering.
Basic proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with engineering software.
Strong written and spoken English and Cantonese communication.
Proactive, eager to learn and able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

Assist design and engineering of façades for buildings in Hong Kong and Asia.
Perform engineering calculations and basic structural analysis under supervision.
Prepare calculation reports, drawings and technical documentation.
Review shop drawings, material submissions and contractor calculations.
Participate in site and factory inspections relating to façade fabrication and installation.
