Job summary

Inhabit Hong Kong invites applications for a Graduate/Junior Engineer to support façade design and engineering on projects across Asia. You will perform basic structural calculations under supervision, prepare drawings and technical reports, and assist in reviewing shop drawings and site inspections.

The role requires good communication in English and Cantonese, a drive to learn, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team focused on sustainable design and innovative building envelopes.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 2 years of engineering or construction experience are welcome to apply.
• Basic understanding of structural engineering principles and interest in façade engineering and building design.
• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with engineering software.
• Strong written and spoken communication in English and Cantonese.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design and engineering of façades for projects in Hong Kong and across Asia.
• Carry out engineering calculations and basic structural analysis under guidance of senior engineers.
• Prepare calculation reports, drawings and technical documentation.
• Support review of shop drawings, material submissions and contractor calculations.
• Participate in site and factory inspections relating to façade fabrication and installation.
