Job summary

Dah Chong Hong Holdings Limited is seeking a lawyer to join the Division: Group Risk Management and Compliance within Corporate Support. The role focuses on reviewing, drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements and providing day-to-day legal support to business stakeholders across HK, mainland China and Southeast Asia.

You'll monitor legal and regulatory developments, identify risks, support compliance initiatives and assist in disputes and due diligence.

Qualifications

• LL.B or equivalent
• 2+ years of relevant legal experience
• Exposure to commercial contracts, corporate law, compliance or general legal advisory work is preferred
• Qualified to practice law in Hong Kong or a common law jurisdiction is an advantage but not mandatory
• Strong drafting, contract review and legal research skills
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
• Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) is required
• Immediately available is highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Review, draft and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including NDAs, service agreements, procurement contracts, marketing agreements and supplier contracts
• Provide day-to-day legal support and advice to business stakeholders on commercial, corporate and operational matters
• Conduct legal research and monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to the Group's businesses
• Assist in identifying and managing legal risks and provide practical recommendations to mitigate potential exposure
• Support compliance initiatives, internal policies and governance programs
• Assist in handling disputes, claims and litigation matters, including liaising with external legal counsel where necessary
• Support corporate projects, transactions, due diligence exercises and contract management activities
• Maintain legal documentation, contract databases and records management systems
• Prepare legal summaries, reports, presentations and training materials for internal stakeholders
• Work closely with business units and corporate functions to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and company policies
