Job summary

We are partnering with a well-established law firm in Hong Kong seeking a Junior Associate (0-3 PQE) to join its Corporate practice. This role offers exposure to private equity, mergers & acquisitions, venture capital, and general corporate transactions for a Hong Kong-qualified lawyer.

Key responsibilities include assisting in deal execution, due diligence, drafting and negotiating documents, and supporting governance and regulatory matters while coordinating with clients and advisers on

Qualifications

• Hong Kong qualified lawyer with 0–3 PQE.
• Experience in corporate, M&A, private equity, venture capital or commercial matters gained from a reputable law firm.

Responsibilities

• Assist in advising clients on M&A, private equity investments, joint ventures, and corporate restructurings.
• Conduct legal due diligence and assist in transaction management.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents and corporate agreements.
• Support corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and general commercial matters.
• Liaise with clients, counterparties, financial advisers, and other stakeholders throughout transactions.
• Work closely with partners and senior associates on complex cross-border deals.

• Fluency in English is essential; Chinese language skills would be advantageous.
• Commercially minded, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
