Job summary

Advanced Biomedical Instrumentation Centre invites applications for IT Technical Officer / IT Assistant (Ref.: H01/2025/052) on a fixed-term basis in Hong Kong. Candidates should hold a degree in Computer Science or IT-related disciplines and have experience with Windows OS and M365.

Certification like MCSE/CCNA/CCNP is advantageous; duties include cybersecurity deployment, PC setup, web maintenance, and support for PHP/HTML/CSS/JavaScript. Fluency in Chinese and English is preferred.

Qualifications

A degree in Computer Science or IT-related disciplines.
MCSE/CCNA/CCNP certificates are advantageous.
At least 2 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
Strong written and spoken Chinese and English.

Responsibilities

Knowledge of cross-boundary data protection within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Deploy cybersecurity hardware and software solutions to protect data.
PC installation and maintenance; configure end-user devices.
Setup and configuration of Windows OS and Microsoft 365.
Maintain the company webpage; familiarity with PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Conduct program testing, system testing and user acceptance.
Provide Zoom meeting support; inventory management.
Assist in procurement processes; assist in routine laboratory tasks.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
