What you'll be doing?
- Investor Relations Strategy: Design and execute proactive IR strategies that elevate the company's visibility and credibility across buy-side and sell-side communities globally.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for investor and analyst enquiries, nurturing relationships with both existing and prospective investors.
- Investor Activities: Lead and coordinate key investor events including non-deal roadshows, investor conferences, and site visits to maintain strong market presence.
- Financial Reporting Compliance: Participate in the preparation of financial announcements and reports in full compliance with HKEX Listing Rules and governance guidelines.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor shareholder register movements, trading activity, market consensus estimates, and peer valuations, translating findings into actionable insights for senior leadership.
- Corporate Website Oversight: Manage the Group's corporate website to ensure timely and accurate disclosure of regulatory announcements and operational updates.
- ESG Leadership: Drive the Group's ESG initiatives, support management on strategy execution and target setting, and manage end-to-end ESG disclosures aligned with HKEX and global frameworks.
- Media & Public Relations: Maintain strong relationships with mainstream financial media and ensure appropriate disclosure of key business developments and company milestones.
- Crisis Management: Lead crisis communications and handle media enquiries with composure and professionalism to protect and uphold the company's corporate reputation.
Who are they looking for?
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Corporate Communications, or a related field forms a solid foundation for this role.
- Relevant Experience: A minimum of 6 years of experience in Investor Relations, Corporate Finance, Equity Research, or Financial PR, ideally within a HKEX-listed company or sell-side brokerage environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of equity capital markets, valuation methodologies, financial modelling, HKEX Listing Rules, corporate governance standards, and ESG reporting frameworks.
- Professional Qualifications: Holding a CPA or CFA designation, or working towards one, would be a strong advantage in this role.
- Language Proficiency: Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese are essential, as this role involves confident communication with institutional investors, executive leadership, and financial media across both language communities.
- Personal Qualities: A highly autonomous, self-motivated individual who can operate with composure, discretion, and maturity alongside C-suite management, even under tight deadlines.
- Availability: Candidates who are immediately available or able to join on short notice will be given priority consideration.
