Job summary

You will oversee securities settlement, corporate actions, and IPO activities while coordinating with product, risk, and technology teams.

The role requires a strong track record in banking operations, excellent communication, and ability to launch new investment products and services in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree holder preferable in Business, Finance, Accounting or related disciplines.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant banking experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership, management and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem solving and influencing skills.
• Familiar with HKMA and SFC regulatory requirements and market practices.
• Proficiency in written English and Chinese; proficiency in spoken English, Cantonese & Putonghua.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and Chinese word processing skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist section head to manage daily operations of investment operations.
• Understand local and global equity operations flow.
• Support launching new or changed investment products, services, and channels.
• Define, implement and monitor SLA of operational activities.
• Oversee new systems, product launches, and cross-departmental projects.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, service agreements and guidelines.
• Liaise with stakeholders to support daily operations and resolve issues.
• Supervise and drive productivity and effectiveness of the team.
• Develop and implement procedures with risk controls and regulatory compliance.
• Identify improvements and drive productivity and operational excellence.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
