Job summary

Global Sports Jobs Limited is seeking an Investment Operations professional in Hong Kong to support the investment lifecycle, perform fund data validations and ensure accurate accounting entries. The role collaborates with custodians, fund administrators and internal stakeholders to drive financial stewardship.

The successful candidate will coordinate performance reporting, monitor providers, process invoices and contribute to IT-enabled process improvements.

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in audit, accounting, investment operations, middle office, or a related role within the financial services industry.
• Fresh graduates with strong academic credentials and relevant internship experience will also be considered.
• High proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Review fund accounting reports prepared by custodians and fund administrators to ensure accuracy and completeness and process accounting entries.
• Coordinate timely collection and validation of performance data and prepare monthly investment performance reports.
• Assist in monitoring service providers against service standards and liaise with stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Provide end-to-end trade support for investment transactions including reconciliation, settlement and exceptions.
• Process service provider invoices, capital calls and other investment-related cash movements with proper records.
• Support administration of the Investment Office's document management system and IT-related coordination.
• Identify and implement process improvements using technology automation and AI to enhance efficiency.
• Monitor fund managers' compliance with investment guidelines and track budgeting data.
