Job summary

FWD Group is seeking a senior contributor to strengthen its investment governance framework and controls in Hong Kong. The role involves supporting the Head of Investment Governance across policy design, monitoring, and reporting to ensure compliance with mandates and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in governance, risk, and investment operations, with strong documentation and stakeholder management skills to coordinate across groups and local units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, actuarial science, law, business administration, or a relevant discipline; CFA, FRM, CPA, legal, or compliance-related qualification is a plus
• Minimum of 6 to 10 years' experience in investment governance, investment operations, risk management, compliance, or related financial services discipline
• Good understanding of investment governance frameworks, investment mandates, limits monitoring, breach management, and pre-/post-trade controls

Responsibilities

• Support Head of Investment Governance in designing, maintaining, and enhancing governance framework and procedures
• Assist in pre-trade and post-trade governance checks, monitoring limits, breaches, and reporting
• Maintain and update investment-related documentation and committee materials
• Coordinate with Group and local stakeholders to embed governance standards into daily activities
• Support preparation and dissemination of governance dashboards, limits reports, and regulatory submissions
• Assist with regulatory enquiries and internal reviews including audit trails
• Work with risk management to support portfolio risk assessments and governance routines
• Contribute to investment transformation through process improvements and automation
