Job summary

Executive Access seeks a senior investment professional to drive growth-stage and buy-side opportunities in Technology and Healthcare sectors, focusing on Greater China and beyond. You will lead sourcing, modeling, valuation, due diligence, and deal structuring while managing portfolio value creation.

The role requires a proven track record in direct investments, strong financial skills, and fluency in Mandarin and English. Based in Hong Kong, travel within Greater China is expected.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of direct investment, private equity, or venture capital experience.
• Proven track record in Tech or Healthcare investments.
• Business-fluent Mandarin (written and spoken); fluent English required.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, structuring, and deal-negotiation capabilities.
• Base Location: Hong Kong, with travel within Greater China.

Responsibilities

• Deal sourcing and origination across Tech and Healthcare in Greater China and internationally.
• Lead end-to-end deal execution including financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and documentation.
• Portfolio management and value-add support for portfolio companies.
• Conduct market intelligence and develop investment theses.
• Coordinate with risk, legal, compliance, and external co-investors.

Job description

This role focuses on growth-stage and buy-side investments within high-growth sectors, particularly Technology (TMT, AI, advanced manufacturing) and Healthcare ( medical devices, healthcare services).

Key Responsibilities

• Deal Sourcing & Origination: Proactively identify, evaluate, and originate investment opportunities across target sectors (Tech, Healthcare, etc.) in the Greater China region and internationally.
• Transaction Execution: Lead end-to-end deal execution, including financial modeling, valuation, commercial and financial due diligence, deal structuring and documentation negotiation.
• Portfolio Management: Active monitoring and value-add support for portfolio companies, driving strategic growth initiatives and preparing for exit strategies.
• Market Intelligence: Conduct deep sectoral research and thematic studies to form high-conviction investment theses.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal risk, legal, and compliance teams, as well as external advisors and co-investment partners.

Key Qualifications

• Experience: 8–12 years of direct investment, private equity, or venture capital experience with reputable investment funds, corporate VC arms.
• Sector Expertise: Proven track record and deep domain knowledge in Technology or Healthcare investments.
• Language Skills: Business-fluent Mandarin (written and spoken); fluent English required.
• Technical Skills: Strong financial modeling, valuation, structuring, and deal-negotiation capabilities.
• Base Location: Based in Hong Kong, with availability for business travel within Greater China.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Life Sciences from a top-tier institution.
