Job description

We are now seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Investment Analyst to join this dedicated investment team. This role offers hands‑on exposure across the full investment lifecycle, from sector research and deal evaluation to portfolio monitoring and value creation. The ideal candidate will bring solid prior experience in equity investment, research, consulting, corporate strategy, or a related field, and will thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Duration

Initially 1 year and renewable thereafter, subject to performance and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end deal execution, including sourcing, screening, initial due diligence, financial modelling, and investment memo preparation;
• Conduct in-depth sector research and market analysis to identify emerging trends and high-quality investment opportunities;
• Assist in portfolio management activities, including performance tracking, KPI monitoring, and supporting value-creation initiatives for portfolio companies;
• Prepare analysis materials, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders;
• Coordinate with external advisors, legal counsel, and vendors throughout the transaction and portfolio management processes;
• Contribute to ad‑hoc strategic projects and administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

• Degree holder in relevant subjects;
• Highly organised, self-driven, and comfortable operating with ambiguity. You should be someone who asks better questions, not just someone who answers assigned ones;
• 2–4 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment or research roles within asset management, management consulting, equity research, corporate strategy, or a comparable analytical function;
• Strong analytical and research skills, with proficiency in data analysis and the ability to quickly master new domains;
• A track record of producing high-quality research outputs or data-driven recommendations for senior stakeholders;
• Genuine curiosity about emerging technologies and a real passion for startups and venture capital;
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
